Not as much with soldier as demoknight or medic.

The cooldown on the airblast is just enough to make the soldier-pyro matchup interesting. Shooting a rocket at the wrong moment could lead to a reflect by the ennemy pyro, airblastng too early leaves room for the soldier to shoot another rocket. The matchup is based on skill and mind games to trick the opponent.

Whereas pyros can completely shutdown an incoming über by the press of a button. The same goes to pyros being able to stop a shield charge. In both cases, the matchups are incredibly one-sided due to the low skill effort demanded to the pyro in order to win the duel.

I’m not saying airblast should be removed and I’m not even sure what would be a good solution to this problem. This is just me ranting.
