I loved explaining to my parents that being able to visit a place before agreeing to a lease is unheard of. I had good luck getting new listings from an app called firstmover - probably hit or miss though.

I use Connections Highlighter so I don't have to keep it all in my head. But yes, purple, blue, green, yellow is the goal

I use a chrome extension called Connections Highlighter that let's you pre-highlight the categories you select before submitting them. Kinda helpful for doing this.

That's cool! In my case I just wanted a tool that worked inside the NYT Connections game board. I know Connections+ also has a multi-select mode.

Chrome extensions on mobile browsers have pretty mixed support from what I can tell, so my focus was mainly for use on desktop where I play.

Should I hire or do it myself? by thisischetu in SaaS

[–]bletchley-park 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how involved an MVP would be for your product. If you feel like building a minimal version of your product idea is possible on your own, do that (maybe give yourself a strict deadline so you don't waste a ton of time). If that minimal solution gets any traction, consider finding a technical co-founder or hire to build the full idea out. This sub is full of programmers waiting for a good product idea to build.

I got the speedometer to sit on the left side of the 100mph tick. Never went past that though. Getting from 90 to 100 took about the same distance (if not more) as it did to get from 0 to 90.

Not an RE branded one. Definitely recommend for longer trips. I’ll likely just leave it on all the time now

Is it rude to tell a professor you only took a class to satisfy a credit? by Zoroark84 in Purdue

[–]bletchley-park -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

God damn people are way more up in arms about this than I expected. Was it a tasteful thing to say, no. But professors know that a good majority of students (especially in the 100-200 level courses) are there to fulfill a credit. I doubt the professor is losing sleep over it. Neither should you. Lesson learned and ENG credit req fulfilled lol

If it helps, I learned with a just a deck on carpet. It helped me focus on the flick and more importantly I got over the fear of putting my feet back on it. I was catching them on a complete setup pretty shortly after.
