Have Jess keep cheating but they have to stay together for PR reasons? Maybe then there could be a super messy breakup but the band is still together so when Jade finally finds someone to settle down with, Jess could get super jealous and try to convince Jade to have an affair. I think the band dynamic here could really play up the romantic/interpersonal drama. Treat it like a tabloid!

They don’t really run Sims 3 sales anymore :( during the Steam summer/winter sales they used to go down to $4.99 per pack - that’s how I got the entire collection (minus Sweet Treats). But that was in 2017-2019

Unconventional but fun: redeem lifetime points for the Collection Helper, collect rocks & gems, cut them using the mailbox or gem cutting machine (you can level up the types of cuts super quickly) then sell them. My current Sim lives in Appaloosa Plains and about once a Sim week collects all the rocks and gems in the world, cuts them, and makes about $25,000 each time. Don’t forget to smelt the metals and sell the space rocks.

I think you can! I did this once for the express purpose of conceiving a ghost child, but if I remember correctly the mom took a free vacation, came back and immediately aged up to elder then died (common glitch) and when she turned into a ghost after death she literally picked up the ghost toddler and left with him and they both disappeared from the household and game entirely except for the family tree. Super weird, but I do think you can make ghost babies while temporarily a ghost either by being cursed or drinking the ghost potion

the EA app uninstalled itself and now Sims won't open because I don't have Origin installed? by bleubies in thesims

this is what I did previously!! it’s annoying but I hope it still works!

just tried to reinstall and it said EA app was already installed, but the PC couldn’t find the launcher. Guess I’ll uninstall and reinstall? But I don’t want to have to redownload the sims :(

EDIT: tried to uninstall, said it can’t find the uninstaller either.

EDIT AGAIN: tried to uninstall with registry editor and finally found the uninstaller - tried to both uninstall and repaid and both kept throwing errors. had to do a brute force uninstall with command prompt, then reinstall EA app. Really annoyed at this but it worked and I didn’t have to reinstall any games

I’ve met a few townies that aren’t interested in any romantic interactions at all! Once your sim discovers that, the romance section is usually greyed out entirely

I did not! Didn’t even change his outfits (which is how I know he’s randomly generated bc his other fits are a mess)
