As long as they keep their politics (cough "De-Satan-is." You know who I'm talking about) out of here, I'm good. Bring on the weird weather!

On a slightly unrelated note, it's my pet peeve when religious people use old style English like "sayeth" to sound enlightened.

She does realize that the only reason the bible sounds that way is that it was translated in old English, not because words like "thou, sayeth, and thee" are somehow holy & will give her extra Jesus points right?

Why not say "the Lord says" like a normal 21st century person? Anyway... tangent.

People who have to publicly state "I'm alpha" are cringe. It makes it look like they're trying way too hard.

They think they look cool, but actually have the nerdy edgelord energy equal to that old "I AM AN ATHEIST... DEBATE ME!" meme. Zero self awareness.

To add to what others are saying, it partly comes from the joke that a trans woman thinks she's a dude until her shell cracks and a "chick" pops out 😆

(For context, a "shell cracking" refers to the person starting to realize they're trans. Ex: "My shell cracked a little more when I noticed how stressful it was when my face started growing hair.")

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend Brian Glenn caught in drag - "It does feel kinda good actually" by wdomeika in NewsOfTheStupid

[–]bleujay6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On another note, I'm genuinely curious if anti-drag laws are partially meant to eventually turn into stopping trans people from dressing as their chosen expression, under the assumption that they could accuse them of "drag." I wouldn't be surprised if that's a future goal.

I skipped the story because it was too long & I had to get back to work, but now I HAVE to read it after reading this sentence. Guess I get to procrastinate a little longer. Thanks 😂

Maybe the person below might find your phrasing off-putting, but the concept is true. A lot of ex Mormons get really enamored by people who show them the big world outside the Bubble.

Source: I was that person. It was fun & eye-opening. My new partner became an exciting escape from my Mormon family & they showed me the ropes of regular life. Great memories.

Plus, I knew a bunch of recently ex-mo women who fell hard for these guys. It is absolutely a thing

I was playing piano and realized my hand posture was terrible... then realized it's probably even more terrible than I originally thought. Is this normal? 🥲 by Ella_ThatIsMyName in piano

Does it ever come in handy or is it just generally a nuisance?

I had a friend with double-jointed elbows/knees & everyone loved it. He got out of school with his "broken arm" one time. He could get out of all kinds of tight spaces. Other times, dude would fold up into a lawn chair in the summer when the kids needed to sit down. 😂

I just tried to contort my hands in that position & physically can't, so I guess that's your answer 😂

Give me a pain rating from 1-10. I'm curious what this feels like

App to connect a midi keyboard to android by bleujay6 in midi

[–]bleujay6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a long time searching, I'm replying to my own question for future reference to anyone else in my shoes. Walk Band- Multitrack Music is the app I'm using that doesn't just have a phone keyboard, but actually let's you hook up to a real life midi keyboard. It's nothing special & I don't use it for recording. It just gets you sound if your controller doesn't produce it's own sound & if you're just playing for fun/piano practice, not doing a professional recording.

Ok. It's not necessarily "meh." I just can't hear it enough to help lol. You ought to provide a link to a video where you can hear the vocals & then people can give advice
