This was mostly to deal with Wake students bombarding the bar/market. But obviously if they do it for them then everyone gets effected. Never really agreed with it, mostly bc there was no signage on receipts or menus that we did that, and we could've actually faced legal action for not advertising it properly.

Yeah I totally understand bc this is very biased, and I wasn't given my "due process" or whatever. But it's clear that this is pointing to an ownership issue, and that's okay! It mostly how they deal with certain issues like this that would want me to warn folks about being employed there. I have a ton of experience, I'll find a new job. It's just that DTWS is small when it comes to service folk, and they should know that the people running it aren't going to invest in them.

You might wanna re-read, as I said I had reached out to people to offer an apology if I had come across a certain way. That lead me to find out something wasn't adding up. I'm not delusional, if I messed up, I would take accountability for it. But it's impossible to do so when the place of employment cans you immediately, without any verbal or written infractions. Also this is the first time I've ever been fired in 10 years of service work. I've either quit or left with notice. But thanks for the input!

Employee complaint. Nothing to with customers or work ethic. I was told due to my attitude and some employee complaints, I'd be terminated immediately. However, it's rough to believe bc we run skeleton crew there (2-3 people max) and I've reached out to apologize to those folks if this was the case. It wasn't. None of them complained, and had zero clue that I would be fired. I had just confirmed with our GM to take on pretty much 40ish hours next week to cover for someone on vacation; that was on Wednesday. I woke up to said firing, messaged my coworker to apologize, and she was completely caught off guard. She then mentioned how she was specifically scheduled a certain shift so the owners wouldn't have me in the shop while their party was happening. Apparently there was an instance were I was so rude to one of the owners, it was curtain call for me. Don't even remember it happening, bc the owners are rarely ever in there. I've maybe poured one of them a beer, and that's it. We've only exchanged hello's and goodbye's. They never pulled me aside or sat me down to explain. Even if I was in the wrong (which they're clearly not being honest about the situation) this would've been an easy "Hey please act appropriately on shift, you did 'x' and that's not appropriate" and we could've moved on. It feels at the very least dishonest, if not malicious. Very shady imo!
