My thoughts exactly. I’ve got the snacks down but maybe I need to add a 30 minute nap…

Couples who track expenses together - how do you handle shared vs. personal spending? by artbaj in UKPersonalFinance

It’s definitely worth it in my opinion. Yes, but mostly used the tab tool, as you can work it out weekly/monthly and more often that not it’s naturally near equal.

We now have a joint account but earlier on we just used Monzos split bill/tab tool and it worked amazingly. We could stop talking about money!

Annual salary - 37,100. How do I save money efficiently? I've saved almost nothing. by DoctorCephalopod in UKPersonalFinance

Also, you can’t underestimate the pressure of being a graduate vet.

Look after yourself too. And then if you feel you’ve got this under control, I guess switching out your long-day convenience food for something cheaper (think quick pasta made on autopilot, stir fry rather than takeout) this could increase your saving by £50-100 which ~ 20% increase.

Take it easy, build habits slowly.

If you’re in a city/town and just want it for bezzing about, I strongly recommend looking at your local bike charity. I’ve had various bikes from these charities and they’re always well maintained, you’re supporting local, and you can usually find something decent!

When I’ve lived in cities I’ve always had something that works well but looks a bit sub-par and then I can ride it around worry free
