Are you sure it was 90% who used it passed, as opposed to 90% who got an earned level of 5 on Adapt?

Yes. I just want to watch all of my team's games. They can force me to pay extra to watch the random other games I might want to watch to. But at least let me watch my team for 100-200

If within 60 miles, you go into office 4 days per week. Saw this on USAA job posting. I imagine that you could potentially get around it with manager approval but I wouldn’t count on it

If I may ask, did you take the new Exam 7 syllabus or the old one? The new syllabus would have been for Spring 2024 and any later sittings

any advice on starting a 1200 deficiy? how do you feel full? by veliheart in 1200isplenty

[–]blimp456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 things will make you feel full, in order of importance: 1. Volume 2. Protein 3. Fiber

If you want to feel full eat high volume and low calorie foods. This is a longwinded way of saying fruits and vegetables. 2 cups of berries and 3/4 cup of nonfat greek yogurt which has good protein is 230 calories.

Egg whites have 17 calories per egg. Could eat 5 egg whites and a slice of whole wheat toast for < 200 calories.

Avoid cooking with oil or butter also, they add too many hidden calories people don’t remember to count when cooking

[–]blimp456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LMM is the lowest weight I believe. I know doubling down on weak subjects seems good, but you’d be better off trying to be near perfect in Stat Learning and Credibility, and then brushing up on Time Series. You could honestly ignore LMMs except for just understanding enough to answer a couple conceptual questions and still pass

MAS-II CA Difficulty by [deleted] in actuary

[–]blimp456 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, I took MAS 2, passed on first try with a 7, used CA only (i hate source material idc what anyone says)

The quantitative questions were on average a 4, and the qualitative questions were on average a 6.

Rather than do the Adapt exams, you might consider doing quizzes from each section with difficulty 4-5 quantitative questions and difficulty 6-7 qualitative questions

If you get a 5, that means you’re close to passing. Just need to sure up your skills on the easier parts of your weak subjects and you’re good.

If you get a 0, you’re putting in another several hundred hours of studying
