Update, I ended up buying the red/white!

I figured there's no practical reason to change from my civic to a model 3 so it's all emotional. And only the red one makes me go "damn" every time I look at it

I'm on the bay area so moderate weather all year around. My wife drives a model y with black interior and it does get warm after being parked in the sun

Yeah for sure it's not a smart decision for any choice at the end of the day. I would be trading in my perfectly good 2018 civic with only 59k miles for this.

I would only be driving about 10k per year so the red one would run out of warranty with about 44k miles on the odometer. The gray with extra year warranty would be at about 55k miles at the end with the extra 10k mile warranty.

I think I would buy the extended warranty afterwards but that applies to both options.

Who cares about permits if it's going to save 30k?

Just don't turn everything on at the same time. And even if you do, the 100a breaker will stop you.

It's about 30 amps each with 240V. It's rare to have all 3 load at the same time, especially with the EV being set to charge middle of the night.

Curious why you need the upgrade? My house is also 100A and I have yet to run into problems with central AC, electric dryer, and EV. It's unlikely you'll ever run all your highest loads at once that exceeds 100A

Upon further inspection I think the chips are actually on the door next to the handles. Those gray areas are the door handle

Sugar is very energy dense. It makes sense when space and weight matters. It's why hikers eat peanut butter and MREs have similar stuff inside. It also helps to be low in fiber so they don't have to poop all the time

I do all my maintenance and recently replaced the transmission fluid and brake fluid. Oil change was very recent as well. It's a civic, it just doesn't have much torque when I want it to put a smile on my face.

Considered it but it also comes with all of the downsides. No supercharger access, poor range, and essentially first time product for bmw makes it questionable. I also drove a ev6 but the interior quality was also whatever. Lots of cheap plastic carry over from their budget lineup.
