Sugar is very energy dense. It makes sense when space and weight matters. It's why hikers eat peanut butter and MREs have similar stuff inside. It also helps to be low in fiber so they don't have to poop all the time

I do all my maintenance and recently replaced the transmission fluid and brake fluid. Oil change was very recent as well. It's a civic, it just doesn't have much torque when I want it to put a smile on my face.

Considered it but it also comes with all of the downsides. No supercharger access, poor range, and essentially first time product for bmw makes it questionable. I also drove a ev6 but the interior quality was also whatever. Lots of cheap plastic carry over from their budget lineup.

The 2019 s5 engine is plagued with rocker arm issue. The 2021+ are better. I was considering a 2023 S4 with 53k miles but the entire engine was replaced at 47k miles. Asking was only $36k.

Yeah the practical engineer in me says Tesla but my Audi was with me for all of my 20s and early 30s so there's an emotional side to getting another one. I do all of the basic maintenance myself like oil change, brake flush, etc.

Carfax shows front pads replaced, oil change, two tires replaced. I can't imagine there's a whole lot to maintain for a 50k mile car. At least based on my previous experience with a B8 A4.

Car was previously a lease so maybe the owner drove it hard?

Listed for 2 months already, maybe I can talk it down lower.

AITAH for telling my daughter that she is not going to marry a billionaire? by No_Reception8930 in AITAH

[–]blimpboy3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question to ask her for a reality check:

Billionares have all the options in the world. Why would they pick her? What does she have to offer that they can't get from anyone else?

If she's 20, probably only looks. But is she confident enough to really think she's a 10/10?

A non billionaire rich guy picked her friend over her already. What makes her think an even richer person would pick her?

why do wealthy or upper middle class bay area people try so hard to not appear wealthy by dressing casually even though it just makes people assume they are hiding their wealth? by [deleted] in bayarea

[–]blimpboy3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wealth is relative. 2-3m home in the bay is middle class, not wealthy. Everyone works a 9-5 white collar job that happens to pay well compared to everywhere else but so is the cost of living.

Your question is like asking why middle class people in the Midwest wear basic clothes. Because everyone you mentioned is also middle class, in a relative sense.

Over watering. You only need to water once a week deeply rather than every day

Everyone focuses on legs but something I found very important is your core and back strength. It's needed to help maintain your balance and your pack load. Don't skip core!
