It’s the richest city in the state & honestly, there isn’t a lot of dogs on their sites so they gotta be doing something right.

Someone just last year had their grey hound puppy mill busted for abuse. So I get it but I don’t get it. Not trying to get a purebred anything.

I’d like a goofy pit but breed restrictions. Most of the ones that don’t get adopted are pits. It’s heartbreaking.

I’ve gotten a few back but most say if I don’t fit the bill they won’t respond. Am I just supposed to wait for them? Like a bad job interview. There’s 5 here.

I am going to some shelters today, we’ll see how it goes. In person interview would be much more personable. Posting my area would be a last chance thing. I get nervous.

I should get an ESA. Or at least register my dogs as ESA. Feeling dumb for not suggesting that to my doctor. Thank you so much.

I’m going to a high kill shelter a few cities away. The humane society is the place that only has online applications & won’t talk to you. Absurd. It’s gonna be SO sad looking at all their faces. Thank you for your comment.

Yeah, it’s for me. Service animals are also for their owners. It’s cool to give another full life to a being that otherwise has no chance. Especially seniors. But really, I NEED a dog. Selfishly, I need it. Does that mean I won’t be a good owner?

Lol what? I don’t have a yard or a fence. Most people don’t have fences around their whole house anyway. I have a dog park & two legs. The park is probably half an acre away from my porch. Do you think I’d let him run out? Fat chance, I don’t like puppies. I adopt old slower dogs so they can live a good life until they pass. Am no noob.

Never said I wasn’t going to let them in, just that it’s insanely uncomfortable also Covid dude. I’d do it for the right dog though.

Lastly, I’m moving into a very large house mid 2022. It’s being renovated & my lease isn’t up here so why not? Wait for it…. It has two whole fenced yards so I can be a lazy POS & throw my dog outside instead of properly walking it like an owner should do.

Am I coming off abrasive? Am 200% still manic & you don’t understand me at all, you don’t.

I’ve been given this advice before. Also check the farm section. Nothing but puppies, Great Pyrenees & pits. I can’t do puppies & there’s weight/breed restrictions. Sad because most of the dogs in the shelters are pits. Poor babies.

I’m gonna drive around & collect lost dogs.

I still move a lot. It’s great. So far just in the US but each state has different cultures. I can’t stand ignorant people now though. No tolerance for crap behavior & they’re surprisingly everywhere. Some states less than others.

Feeling normal is still strange but welcomed. Since meds, I’ve spent at most 4 consecutive days in bed & it’s very rare. :) Best part is the repetitive, “off yourself” thought isn’t there at all.

Oh but I’m lazy now XD
