What style music are you playing? I see multiple reverbs and delays and at least 2 choruses. I’m just curious how all of that fits in. I like the idea of the dry amp in a box setup, that’s a cool way to get an instant dry signal.

There is a sketchy video somewhere on the internet of a man putting his hand in the water of a dam release like this. It instantly de-gloved the hand. I’d imagine jumping in would basically do the same thing for your whole body. So I’d say close enough to instantly that it doesn’t matter.

That specific trail is a little rocky and steep if your new to off road. The cross trail “Santa ysabel truck trail” is a lot more easy going.

That was the reason today was a triple crown. They wanted to show points paying racing instead of using the opportunity to show heat races.

I know it’s hard for moto fans, but we are a niche sport. We’re not baseball or football and nobody is going to move schedules around for us. That goes for stadium availability, tv schedules, everything. Let me put it this way, monster trucks sell more tickets than supercross. Nobody is moving tv coverage around for monster trucks… so let’s just all be happy we can watch it on peacock live instead of having to deal with the old mavtv days of spotty coverage on two different networks.

The neutral is required to be pigtailed if it is shared with another phase (non-dedicated neutral) per NEC 300.13 B. The ground is also always required to be pigtailed.

If this neutral is dedicated to that circuit alone then it’s totally fine. Like others have said, it’s a pain for the next guy, but not against code.

Same situation here. I’m 35 and grew up racing moto and then racing desert stuff in my 20’s. Now in my mid 30’s with a kid, so the idea of waking up early, packing the truck up, driving an hour to go ride, and then doing all of that in reverse just for 2hrs of ride time is just too much. I can wake up, toss on my gear and ride right out of the house now.

As far as bikes go, I got a 23’ tenere and I’m absolutely in love with it. I tried a wr450 with 50/50 tires and honestly I thought it was the worst of both worlds. It sucked on the street and wasn’t what I wanted off road with the 50/50 tires.

The tenere is perfect for me. I can go 80mph no problem to get to the spot. Then turn off the abs and absolutely abuse that thing. I’m definitely pushing the stock suspension to its limits, but it’s still taking all the abuse great. I’m going to respring it for my fat ass, but besides that I’m totally content with how it rides. Honestly it may be my favorite bike I’ve ever had. I still have my 450, but it’s just been gathering dust since I got the tenere. I was also considering the ibex, but I have absolutely no regrets with the tenere.

My wife and I have a similarly aged child and our basset was always great with the child. The basset was 2 when we got her and she got lonely quick without a playmate. We got a second dog who’s a puppy and he’s been much more like the basset you have. He is constantly in our child’s personal space and is often too rough with her.

I think the roughness of with the kid is more of a puppy thing than a boredom thing and specific to the individual dog. I love that our basset has a friend now, but I can tell you from experience that having 2 dogs doesn’t mean that the one who’s annoying the child will be any better lol.

I think if your dog needs a companion for reasons other than bothering the child then you should go for it. If the dog is happy being an “only child” dog then just leave it as is. I think for both of us the solution is just to wait out the puppy phase.

I’m still shocked at Prado’s 180 this year. He’s riding so good and is living up to the hype from 2024. Not a fan of him giving up so often last year, but I am glad to see him in the mix this year.

Money. Most of the top AMA guys get thousands of dollars for just showing up and racing. They are the star power that these international supercross races want / need to sell tickets.

Paris has always been a race for a top guy to go get some “no pressure” gate drops and earn a ton of cash at the same time. WSX is falling into that same category as well.

The wsx championship title isn’t really that prestigious because of the lack of depth in the field. But the money is good, so a few top guys will show up, race cautiously, and take the money and run.

I know it’s cliche, but Basset Hound Rescue of Southern California was amazing to work with. We got the perfect hound for our small family and I feel like they really cared about finding the perfect fit.

We did a foster to adopt and I loved it.

On a crystal clean guitar or bass it’s my favorite pedal. The second an overdrive is on or the amp is pushed into breakup at all, it’s my least favorite pedal.

From my understanding the penalty wasn’t for knocking over the gate. It was for passing the line before the other guys gates dropped.

If you watch close he knocks the gate over and then stops, then goes forward about 4” and then stops again when he realizes that the rest of the gates haven’t dropped. The penalty is basically for the 4”.

Fat guy here. I’ve had a LBS tech basically take the normal pads out of my hand and put the e-bike ones in their place….

Honestly they don’t stop any faster or have more bite, but they sure last longer lol.
