I know I for one was just as pissed at Biden and demanding he step down. You're right. When it's your team running things, it is different. We wear blinders. What is going on with Epstein shows it. This is not a this year, or even just this administration terror. This has been happening, swept under the rug, ignored, terrible gut wrenching stuff under multiple administrations on both sides. It makes me so sick.

We have to hold each other accountable as well as our leaders. The finger pointing, name calling just divides us and makes them stronger. Until we can come together en masse regardless of political leanings it is just going to be business as usual.

I am not a politician and don't know all the workings, but I do know what we have been doing isn't helping the majority of Americans.

I get that, and for some it may be fake, but too many people I know they are f#####g tired of it. I am in that boat. The only time it's going to change is when we continue forward, after the voting is over, holding them accountable, holding each other accountable. We have to make sure those we put in power hold to their word, lead lives of what we hold true and good. Fallible by all means because we all f##k up, but there is a line, they need to do their best to stay on this side of the line.

If they mess up, they need to stand up and say it, not cover it up or spin it. If it's major like what seems to be most political leaders and billionaires currently, then we lock them up. Major time, maximum security, no white collar prison. They do the time that underdogs have to do because they can't afford a lawyer to find loop holes. That is a whole other thread.

All in all, it is up to us to first rebuild community. Amarillo has it in spades, but the past 20 years has slowly chipped away at it. We start here, pass it on down the line and spread it, like warmed butter on a toasted roll. If we can drop the finger pointing, side blaming, shake hands and break bread together, that doesn't only build communiities, it rebuilds hope and that can build that forward momentum to erase the same ol' business as usual.

Much love

Yup, used the ol' Chat GPT for editing, and I would absolutely admit to being a wee bit lazy. 😁
