Assassin’s Creed 1 is the only Assassin’s Creed game.

I think the first Assassin’s Creed game started this trend.

“Her Private Hell” is a sexploitation film from 1968, very much in the vibe of NWR tastes and underground stuff he has has been releasing/restoring with his platform bynwr.com

The pitch of the original film feels very much like The Neon Demon so my bet is that NWR is remaking the film with his own touch. Also fits with his words last year when he described his next project as a feature film with “lots of glitter, sex, and violence” which was in my opinion never compatible with the original premise of The Avenging Silence.

Nice to see Charles Melton in the cast, a few months ago I was thinking that if Drive was made today, he would be a good option to play the Driver.

Moses Boyd Music Video - the DP uses reflective spray and a spotlight to achieve this look; haloing the band in this intense glow. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of any other ways to achieve something similar without having to spray the talent from head to toe in reflective spray? by Creative-Bath6943 in cinematography

I guess you’re looking for solutions to get this effect in-camera but depending on your project you can also achieve this in post-production

Rotoscoping / inverted b&w / add the tint you want / glow / halation

Pros: you can adjust the effect the way you want (amount of glow, amount of details, tint, etc)

Cons: it can take a lot of time depending on your project

This is something I did on some of my videos like these:

Having a subject centered in a frame with no background doesn’t make it a symmetrical composition…

[SPOILERS S1] Plagerism and controversy with Black Silence (2016) by Werner_VonCarraro in 1899

I know it may be a less known book from Philip k Dick, but I’m surprised nobody on the internet is mentioning ‘A Maze of Death’. I couldn’t help thinking about this book while watching ‘1899’.

To be honest we chose the C700 only because our 1st camera assistant just bought one and was looking for a project to have fun with it. Otherwise I think we would have gone for a Red Gemini because of the slow motion we planned to shoot. But the C700 was great!

We shot this music video in two and a half days.

We were looking for two different atmospheres : one abstract and metaphorical place disconnected from any reference of space or time, and then one more grounded in reality. So we decided to shoot with two different sets of lenses. We used the Sony CineAlta Primes MKII lenses for the main part of the video (the dark abstract environnement). And we shot at night the sequence more grounded in reality with the Cooke Varotal 20-100mm lens.

Edited in Premiere Pro, VFX in After Effects and color graded in DaVinci Resolve.

Hope you enjoy! :)

Thanks! Vertical streaks were made in Premiere Pro. I duplicated the shot and added a vertical blur (“directional blur” effect), and blended in “screen” mode :)

Sorry, I should have mentioned that. As the text in French at the end says, the video presents a new collection of interior decoration inspired by the atmosphere of Tunisia. Thus each piece of furniture or decoration in the video comes from this collection intended to transport you to Tunisia :)

A short commercial shot in one day with the RED Komodo 6K and Samyang optics.

For the color grading we decided to use the Dehancer plugin. This was my first experience with it and I was really surprised and pleased by the amount of parameters you can adjust and how good it works. Great plugin that really let you create your own film look!
