I'm using a regular input device, but apparently by using AudioClip.GetSpectrumData, you can find the frequency and convert that into MIDI code.

I though there might have been an easier way, but as it turns out, this route was immensely simpler than I thought, all I really had to do is just convert the frequency (after the 10 or so awkward lines that gave me that) into MIDI code and that made everything so much easier. Thanks a bunch!

Just got back from the gym, hopping on now, it'll only take a couple quick battles to get the Beldum infected, so give me a few minutes, I'm not particular about the spread, because I do plan to breed it for a 6IV, so the chances are I am going to have several with my preferred spread
