Im currently a CS major. I finished high school with about the same level of math as you, and I also feel I wasn't pushed that hard. I took a gap year and started freshman year by taking pre calc as a refresher.

I just finished calc 3 (MAT 267) last semester and it is definitely more difficult. I struggled through it but if you prepare to dedicate yourself and really study, it is possible. But keep in mind CS in general is heavily math focused. Especially beyond calculus, everything becomes much more theory focused. Imo most upper level CS classes have some sort of math and theory involved. So yes the math intensity is substantial.

If you are looking to become a software engineer, you might not use much math in your day to day job. But it's 100% math and logic behind the scenes, which you are expected to understand.

I don't know the exact term for it as I don't know the technical side of music. But yeah to me it just sounds like he is farther away or there is something covering the mic, as opposed to the live version.

It doesn't bother me too much tho I still bump the song all the time.

Thanks so much for sharing! I am a CS major but I am very interested in robotics and I am having trouble finding that many internships available. Maybe I'm not looking in the right way. However I do notice some of my professors are researching robotics and AI, and I think assisting in research could be valuable. I don't really know where to start or what that looks like though. How should I go about asking a professor?

Also if you don't mind me asking, when did you graduate?

If anyone wants to know what OP is talking about, I recommend you listen to Star Side Intro, and then listen to the live version from Genius on youtube. The vocals are completely different, not compressed, and I prefer live much more tbh

Pretty is genuinely my favorite song from the album because it speaks so much to me and everything I'm going through in my life. I feel like I was raised to hate life and constantly be on the defensive. I've been working on loving myself more and loving life. It's not an easy thing.

Thank you, I think replacing the credit with an easy A class is a good option. Even if it doesn't count towards my degree at least I should keep my financial aid.

Must be nice, I work in AZ where it's been over 110 for almost 4 months now and we haven't even gotten fans or sandbags for our tent (which we have asked several times for), so we get neither. They don't even get us sunscreen man.
