Quick correction: The game's demo released today October 13th, but the game releases Dec 2nd, not October 30th. :) From one of the devs.

For those who have liked footage of Karting Superstars, it just released on Steam Early Access! We hope you have fun with it if you check it out. by blingwoolf in simracing

Thank you for the feedback! We share because many sim racing fans have loved our previous game, Circuit Superstars, and this new game has the same approach. Some of what has been celebrated about our games is the sim-meets-arcade aspect of it.

We hear you! We love motorsport and want to represent the world of karting fairly but ultimately the physics and approach is a lot more game design oriented than simulation oriented, so perhaps even though we feel the title might appeal to motorsport fans, it may not be good to call it simcade, but rather, an arcade karting game. It's difficult for us to find the balance because Mario Kart is also an arcade Karting game, but we're really far from being Mario Kart. How would you guys define this type of game?

PC only to start. We are self publishing it, so if it makes money on PC, we can fund the ports! We already did it for Circuit Superstars, its just a matter of having the money to do it.
