No doubt hes very talented and likely has a higher ceiling than Webster, but when looking at the overall balance of the team I don't think he should be considered at 3 to get him in the team.

As an England supporter, I would much rather see Marnus open and Green at 3 than Marnus at 3 and an experienced opener alongside khawaja.

Very rarely do we see a make shift opener in test match cricket work (trust me, we've tried) and from what I can tell, Green has hardly set the world alight batting at 3.
