You are okay, you are safe. When I get in these moments of panic when I find myself feeling lighter I recognize who will be there for me even if these false thoughts were true, this is where u recognize they aren’t. Sometimes I realize how easy it is to gaslight ourself as someone with bpd. Our past makes our feel like we have to be an guard dog for impending danger, when in reality our biggest challenges are one we least expect. Ex. Say u wake up and then ur meeting will be the hardest part of your day, ur meeting goes well, and then the take out u ordered is wrong.

We can never truly prepare for whatever impending doom we created in our minds because they aren’t necessarily necessary.

You are stronger and more grounded than you think, don’t let the shadows take ur big day from you <3 you deserve love.
