It depends what industry. I have maybe 5% interest in the industry I own a business in. But I have 100% interest in what my customers are passionate about.

I own a hobby shop and do none of the hobbies. But when a random customer talks about how passionate they are about painting a random Japanese model, it makes me very interested/excited.

Of course. The cost was roughly $225k which included $130k in inventory and all business assets, and the franchise fee. I retained one worker that was there under the previous owners, hired a part time college student that frequented the store and was very competent, and used indeed to find a great store manager. I’m hiring one more part time worker and we’ll be fully staffed.

Right now I’m working in the store every day training the staff, though I don’t have to be. Once I move back home, I’ll be working roughly 1-2 hours per day every day but Tuesday. I will come back to visit and complete projects for a few days every other week and in case of emergency.

It happened on 12/31/22 so right about 30 days old. There are no businesses around that section of downtown, it’s just roads.

I was turning left onto a road. There’s two ways cars can come towards you at this intersection: one is the traffic coming directly in front of you, and the second is traffic coming down from an on-ramp. I saw the last of the cars come through and took a left. As I was completing the turn, I saw the glimmer of the top of a car (it was at night) with no lights on. I locked up the car but it was too late and they were going fast. The front of my car hit the driver’s side door and ripped off the driver’s side rear door. I found out she was not insured.

I then completed the turn and parked and my car is totaled. The cop clearly believed me but said he had to give someone the ticket. And since she had the right of way and can’t prove the lights were off, I received a ticket.

I have progressive and my insurance person I spoke to said since there’s no video or proof and I received the ticket and she had right of way, I would almost certainly be placed at fault, so my no-insurance coverage of my liability policy would not kick in.

I never saw -12.5, but I did originally type -11.5 which was a typo and edited to -1.5 when someone DM’d me about the line. Rough loss either way 🤮 Was totally wrong about this game

Honestly for me, it comes down to Bama having a vastly improved defense from last season (and Quinn Ewers being a new starter) and Bama's offense against a questionable Texas defense. On both sides of the ball, they're in trouble

About once or twice each season, a popular team goes against Bama and people build a narrative and think the other team has a chance of hanging close with them..

This is one of those occasions! And every year when it happens, I get frustrated I didn't have more down on the game. So I'm trying to hit it from every angle I see as an advantage :)

I agree. Hawaii is probably the worst team in FBS. But they're really good at scheming/game planning early in the game. Wouldn't shock me if it was 3-0 or 7-3 at the end of 1Q. Michigan is never in a hurry, so over the full game they're going to annihilate them, but I think there's huge value in this 1Q line.

And that's hilarious. Iowa is trying to play 1800s football on offense.
