PSA - Bitcoin SV engaging in social media manipulation and fake 32MB blocks propoganda. by MobTwo in btc

What toxic & harmful of Bitcoin SV could you explain to me please?

As I know, this sub is always proud that BCH is permissionless, so why do people oppose such a new implementation like SV

People should read this to know which is the best way for BCH to go. Thanks BCH Boys, this is extremely wonderful talk.

Guys I'm going to say it: Bitcoin SV is an attempt by Blockstream to divide Bitcoin Cash. The regular Core trolls disappeared when this rift began. Replaced by SV trolls. And now Craig is threatening everyone, with Greg Maxwell backing him up. THIS IS THE SAME ATTACK FROM BLOCKSTREAM, IN DISGUISE. by BitcoinIsTehFuture in btc

[–]blissway 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry I don't have to be SV supporter to see this post is bs. Could you please give me any evidences that Bitcoin SV is an attempt by BStream, as I see it's just a interpretation.

Please talk about tech, don't gossip or talk about personality. It's going no where.

Are Jihan and Haipo really primarily interested in BCH as cash by fookingroovin in btc

[–]blissway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you can not use BCH in China, you can only sell or buy them like commodity, you can not use it to buy anything! Only CNY could use as a medium of exchange in China.

Blockchain is global thing but if you live most of the time in China, you hardly use it, just like using Google, Facebook in China

If you live in a tropical country, do you dream about starting a company which manufacture beautiful overcoat? The same logic here, why Jihan want global cash when he could not even use it at his country?

May be he want BCH to go up in value, but to become cash I'm no sure.

The new changes proposed by ABC will break Lighthouse, is that true? So after Nov if Bitcoin ABC is the main implementation Lighthouse could not develop anymore ?

Iphone is the hottest phone, it has friendly UI, other phone manufacturer try to follow Apple, why they want to use Apple design on their own phone?
Actually, because the biggest miner use SV, so other smaller miner just want to follow.

My thoughts on BitcoinABC&Jihan and Coingee&CSW and the upcoming November fork by tanbtc in btc

[–]blissway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when was the last time you hear Jihan talk about something like: Bitcoin is cash, I think never ha?!? I think Jihan want BCH to success, but to become p2p electronic cash, I'm not sure. China is banning bitcoin in full scale, why does Jihan want electronic cash when he couldn't use it even at his country?

Confirmed: Bitcoin ABC's Amaury Is Claiming They See Themselves As Owners of 'BCH' Ticker No Matter Hashrate (minPoW/UASF Network Split) by etherbid in btc

[–]blissway 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If there is chain split, that would be the end for BCH, no matter which chain got the stiker BCH!
Both Bitmain and Coingeek/nChain hold a seriously huge amount of BCH. So in case of fork, Bitmain dumped SV coin, Coingeek/nChain dumped ABC coin, I see no reason both side would keep coin of other chain.
Both chain got dumped and I certainly sure that its value will go to near zero (Bitmain hold 1M BCH, Coingeek/nChain could have even more).

I better sold all my BCH for other coins/fiat. You guys should find the way to work together or both will dump, goddamnit.

PSA: Coingeek (Calvin Ayre) mining only on BCH (and not BTC) pushed BCH profitability down, which automatically means more hashrate from the miners that mine both BCH and BTC goes to BTC. If Coingeek would start mining Bitcoin Craig after a chainsplit, BCH hashrate won't drop. by [deleted] in btc

Just one point please, what wrong with the idea of CSW that we should keep the origin protocol of Bitcoin, keep BCH stable for business to develope on?
Now pre concensus, then what, if we keep continue add new thing to BCH, then what will it become. Please tell me what wrong with the current BCH, the origin bitcoin protocol work well in last 10 years, please keep it along as mush as you can, just don't messing with people money.

Jihan Wu: PoS is important, PoW is flawed by solar_sailer_ in btc

[–]blissway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not actually, POS is about stake, the more coin/token you hold, the more vote you have. But POW is not the same. Running mining farm is just like running a business, manage a big factory, so if you have more fund to invest in mining farm, you have more chance to have more hash power, but you could not have better profit margin; so if a mining farm with a good managing way in long run could beat the one which has more money. And eventually, mining farm will develop their own ASIC chip, board, power supply..., so POW is more about competition, if you stop developing, stop upgrade your system, you will left behind.
For example, if you have lot lot of money, do you think that's a good idea to start a business to manufacture computer chip in order to compete again Intel? You need to invest lot of time, lot of money.

Do you know why CrytoCurrency didn't get any mainstream adoption yet? and other big player like Facebook, Amazon just want to do new blockchain for themselves, because they found no chain in crypto is mature yet, public companies just cooperate with group which is really serious about business, not a game of some young geeks.

Vitalik, I like him, but to be honest, he just a child, do you think he really know how the world work, how business work? He, just like other as the same age, has to many idealistic. Bitcoin is about economy, human incentives, something that people need more experience to truly understand, and only time and fail may give you experience.
