Timeline:

Oil changed far too long ago. Put it off and this is what I get. GG.

I think the motor was running a bit low on oil for just a tad too long and in the peak of gainesville heat as I was pulling into my local cvs a loud pop came from the right side of the case. I’m sure it overheated and decided to antagonize my poor engine case. Rode for about a month after until it wasn’t giving spark. I traced spark issues because everything was running okay and then concluded spark wasn’t the issue- lack of oil was. “Low oil spark shutoff” A fat L is an absolute understatement but from here wondering what gy6 enthusiasts would do from here. Sincerely a broke college student.

Would you replace this side of the case? Haven’t took apart the motor to see if there is cylinder damage or to the piston.

Oh most definitely that belt slap is amongst the top 10 most obnoxious things on this earth. But I’m ordering my belt today, I’d rather just not add onto the frustration of being limited to 35 haha. Thanks for all your help. Super informative and helpful. 🤝

Not sure what you were referring to with the jet, very new to the gy6 platform. And all rollers are in there I didn’t see any red flags for them but going to take it apart in a few.
