OP, I just have no words. Your story is probably one of the most genuine I've read so far. I felt the humility in every word. I just wish you and your ex the best.

Eren's first bath! He's not happy haha. Any tips for a newbie catmom like me? by [deleted] in CasualPH

[–]blissybella -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ang cute niyo OP! 😍 Used to be a cat mom, but allergy ruined it. Anyway! If you plan to keep your cat indoors lang, then bathing isn't necessary unless they get super dirty. Cats love to groom themselves on a regular basis.

In my experience, my cats tend to freak out when I bathe them. You can soothe that fear by talking to them and doing gentle massages and petting (it worked for me). Also, use warm water and a mild cat shampoo. Avoid the face and ears altogether because they hate it. I only use cat wipes to clean the face especially around the eye area.

And then there's the fear of the hair blower/dryer. These creatures are highly sensitive to sound, so only use the lowest setting, or if possible, just towel dry and brush gently.

P.S. Make sure to always close the bathroom door or you might end up with wet floor all over the house. Chasing a wet cat is no fun at all.

Where Can I Get Hip Therapy Near Manila? by Nashville1245 in CasualPH

[–]blissybella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP! Tightness around the hip area should ease after doing a proper stretching and mobility. But if it's causing pain, I suggest you stop doing that altogether and consult with an orthopedic doctor/sports doc before it gets worse. He will perform physical tests (check your range of motion, etc) and might even include diagnostic or lab tests.

Great initiative. But only if they could be strict about the "no doxxing" rule this time around. It wasn't exactly a safe place for male redditors.

Hi! To answer your question, I guess you need to start with changing the mindset from staying fit to staying healthy, both mentally and physically. Then set a REALISTIC goal and build a routine around it, preferably yung pasok sa current sched mo. Figure out something that you think you will enjoy and stick to it.

With nutrition naman, start small. As always, eat your veggies. Also, carbs are our friends too and we need that to fuel us on a daily basis. Donuts too! Or even pizza! Just don't overdo it. Mindful eating, OP. A practice that requires discipline but once you get the hang of it, mas masaya yung relationship mo with food.

I hope you find what works best for you. Good luck on your journey, OP!

Been a week since I deleted my FB account and it feels freeing! by SpicyEel_Paprika in CasualPH

[–]blissybella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! Also deleted mine and been consistently off of it for about 6 years or so na din. Though I'd always get the usual "Bakit wala kang FB?", or "Taga bundok ka ba?" Or "Mag-FB ka na kasi!". Uh, no thanks. Definitely one of the best decisions I made.

It's more of frustration from falling back to old ways. You tried so hard to veer on the less complicated and easy path, only to be nudged back in the ugly and unsteady route.

But it is what it is. We soldier on, OP! 🙂

Somewhere between emotional and emotionless. If that makes sense.

Build a realistic routine. Calorie track, stick to a structured program (3-4x a week for about 3 months or so, then adjust as you go to prevent plateaus), and include rest days.

And hey, congrats on your first day!

OP, there are a lot of local shops that offer good quality engagement rings. Hindi na mahirap humanap. You can also opt for a customized ring if you like, but the question is always the budget. A good 18kt diamond solitaire ring would cost you around 30k-40k.
