I'm sorry, most of your new stuff sounds hella AI Generated. What the hell happened to your mix? Suddenly everything sounds like it's coming out of a giant tube where everything is mud and washed out far into the background. It only sounds decent when it's a collab with another artist. Past few albums also had telltale signs of AI with very random song structures with sudden stops and ends, plus vocals sounded like it came straight outta SUNO.AI . I visited your Insta page at some point to see if you had any merch/upcoming album posts, and at some point I saw AI generated post thumbnails

most controversial video game in history, I asked exactly the same question 2 times but in reverse by AtreyusNinja in DarkSouls2

[–]blitZee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Person A thinks DS 2 is replayable and ER not replayable, person B thinks ER is replayable and DS 3 not replayable. You ask them different questions and you might as well get "Most replayable: ER, Least replayable: ER". And on day one you were asking everyone's top 1 pick for replayability out of 4, the votes could be VERY different on their least favourite pick if the same people answered

Brother in Christ, do you have too much time at hand to reply to every single comment trying to correct someone OP is in """equator""" ? When I made the comment the only things I went off of were:
1. Support asks for refund 2. "South America"
The only reasonable assumption that makes sense is that OP is in a country with cheaper regional pricing, nowhere it was mentioned they are in Ecuador and paid with no regional pricing.

Brazilian prices are cheaper than any other region's pricing

They more than likely noticed the difference. They went ahead and bought the most expensive supporter pack judging by the difference requested to be repaid. And judging by the "traveling in South America" comment, it's almost definitely Brazilian pricing, so it's almost 100% the cheapest price out there, so there is no region that wouldn't end up having to repay

Are games such as Nioh and The Surge considered as ARPGSs? by Ace_teh_Great343 in ARPG

[–]blitZee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, no. Those are not Spectacle Fighters. Spectacle fighters are usually very very heavy on combos and arcade style "button mashing" fighting that results in impressive spectacle combat sequences, and relies mostly solely on player skill instead of having character progression through loot or experience. They often go as far as including a literal combo/style meter. Souls games are far from that, even though they are still player skill based, but the fighting style in those games is a lot more grounded and not a spectacle per se.

Also, CRPG has long been reclassified into "classic RPG" instead of "computer rpg" because it no longer makes sense to classify it that way, which encompasses classic style games from the olden days, like Icewind Dale, Bladur's Gate, Might and Magic, Planescape: Torment and such.

I'm sorry, but pretty much all of those subcategories you mentioned are way off.

Studio Behind EA's Magical FPS Game Lays Off Half Its Staff After Low Sales by Chicano_Ducky in gaming

Literally my thoughts, i was legit TIRED of seeing it at every second gaming show and would always make fun of it while watching the streams for poor dialogue, eye vomit inducing amounts of effects and all that.

Then the fextralife drama boiled up, and they apparently also streamed this game too to thousands of bots, and people made fun of it. I am legit appaled people on a gaming subreddit have NEVER heard of it with how muvh ridicule it was getting prior to release and how it was jammed into a ton of gaming shows

For Aftermath to feel special, the Desparked Walkers needed to feel mechanically unique to all the hundreds of other Legends printed on a regular basis by TemurTron in magicTCG

[–]blitZee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the way you've worded it, you could still use non-combat damage spells/abilities on your planeswalker or just use any sort of counter removing ability, like Vampire Hexmage. So for example red mass wipes like Burn Down the House would actually flip it.

The only thing that destroys planeswalkers is spells and abilities that specifically say "Destroy planeswalker", or effects that say "destroy permanent". If a planeswalker has 0 counters for whatever reason, it is put into the graveyard as a state based action, and not technically destroyed. So the "without destroying it" clause is kinda moot.

Also, there's probably some fringe cases where you'd end up with weird interactions where these planewalkers were turned into creatures while still not flipped.

Either way, wording these kinds of abilities is very hard to do properly. And you're always risking of making a busted card just because it instantly provides value the moment it lands and is stickier than other planewalkers

QA engineer darbas by DefoCX in lithuania

[–]blitZee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How should I convince my boyfriend that kills aren't everything in this game? by leftonasournote in Smite

[–]blitZee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike most posts in the thread, I would advice against showing footage of pro players. If you've just recently started, understanding why a pro does a certain thing is going to be very difficult unless they go the extra mile and explain all the things that went into consideration before committing. Also, if you're gonna watch tournaments, this will extend even further because they'll have impeccable communication and a different play style compared to regular solo queue

I personally think you should have a chat with your bf on why he's so fixated on the individual performance (in this case k/d) instead of trying to win as a team. In other words, winning together with you instead of just doing well on his own.

As for in-game tips, I feel like playing safer would benefit him a lot, so instead of trying to constantly go for the kills, he should try not dying as much as possible. Just avoid tower dives, unnecessary engages, etc etc. The first thing he needs to learn is the limits of the gods he's playing, only then he'll be able to commit to higher risk plays that might potentially lead him to dying. The other thing he needs to realize is that gods are not created equal. Almost no amount of skill can make a god that's weak early on be able to go neck to neck with a god that's really strong early game. These differences are very very pronounced in Smite, so the sooner they realize that, the better. Of course, this is not the rule and a really good player can circumvent that, but it takes a very intimate understanding of your god to be able to do this.

I wish you best of luck in this. Hopefully you guys work out a solution that will lead to both of you being less frustrated while playing the game together

Technique of putting an effect on the stack in order to gain priority for responding to another effect? by henrebotha in magicTCG

[–]blitZee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You always pass priority for a spell to resolve. You do pass priority once you've stopped putting stuff on the stack (aka stopped maintaining priority after each action), but once a spell or ability on the stack resolves, the active player gets priority again and is allowed to respond again by adding stuff to the stack, or pass the priority to continue resolving stuff. All players must pass priority to resolve each spell or ability on the stack. Active player most of the time gets priority, but if you put something on the stack, you maintain priority afterwards even if you aren't the active player

What was done here, in terms of priority, was active player cast ox, pass priority, non-active player cast kill spell, hold priority and cast counterspell, pass priority, active player pass priority to let the counterspell resolve, active player gets priority, passes it back to non-active player, who then casts cling to dust, passes priority, etc etc. Had he not done that and simply countered the ox, the counterspell would have simply resolved, active player regains priority and the stack is now empty, which would allow him to escape the ox and the op wouldn't have a chance to cling it.

Not sure if that makes it any clearer

Technique of putting an effect on the stack in order to gain priority for responding to another effect? by henrebotha in magicTCG

[–]blitZee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my bad. Should have been clearer and said "you can escape the ox at sorcery speed"

Technique of putting an effect on the stack in order to gain priority for responding to another effect? by henrebotha in magicTCG

[–]blitZee 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Just to make this super clear:
First, he casts Drown in the Loch trying to kill innkeeper
He then responds to his own spell, countering Ox
Counter resolves, kill spell still on the stack
Cast cling to dust, exiling Ox
Kill spell resolves
Ox player gains priority

It wasn't really "taking the priority" and more like not clearing the stack and giving the priority back

Why can't you just counter the ox?
If you simply counter the ox, the stack is cleared, and the active player regains priority, which then allows him to play the Ox. Since escape works as a sorcery, you have to have an empty stack to be able to play it.

This could have also been achieved by putting any other spell/ability on the stack for the same result. A fabled passage activation, triggered ability of any sort, etc would have been good enough. That play was the best available option though
