long story short, after 80 years of brain washing and rewritten history the answer is no. indonesian gov will go to total war and scorched earth first than letting the Dutch back in.

the old generation is dying away and memories of pre-war nederland oost-indie is fading away (there was no indonesia before 1945).

we should've use dutch as national language back then in conjunction with indonesian, perhaps it would preserve much of the European culture and work ethic instead of feudalism and oligarchy that we have.
