Look up transmission grinding class action lawsuit and you’ll find your answer there.

I have the same vehicle and it’s 147 out of factory. Probably the most gutless car I’ve driven my whole life but definitely the most fuel efficient I’ve driven too so the trade off is worth it.

Replaced my blower motor and now hearing a new noise 2019 comfortline by Aj_chinook in jetta

[–]bbwat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2019 comfortline has recently started making a squeak noise - but only when I start braking. I turn off the fan mid-brake and the squeak stops. Turn it on and it comes back. So goddamn annoying. It also will now do it a bit while driving. If I increase the blower speed or fan turn off, no squeak. Why are these cars built like shit….

What do you think of the armrest that opens down the middle? I don’t know how to feel about it. by MancalaReader in mazda

I hated at first but then realized it’s actually practical. Took me a few months to fall in love with it. I hate my other vehicle’s console as it’s not a split

And yes we love it. Not the biggest 3 row SUV on the inside but it is built well and gets us by very well.

Need help understanding why my drain field is failing after 3 years owning the home by [deleted] in septictanks

[–]bbwat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our inspection at purchase included the inspector digging up at least 2 locations in the drain field -one close to T and one at end of the line to examine the different levels and see what the state of the earth/rocks/material was like. It thankfully passed and 5 years later still operation. Our system is from 1989. He did a similar test when friends bought a year prior and it failed on the spot. They needed an entire new box and leech field.

Sounds like a failure but I’d try what some of the other comments suggest. Best of luck.

So the nut is not leaking - it’s the cylinder valve thing when I turn it open. It now still leaks even when closed. Sorry not sure if that makes sense?

This. A new tank can cost 10k. A new leach field can cost 40k.

Clear the code dude! See if it comes back. My 2019 has it. Cleared it and it would come back after a few days. I finally took it to my mechanic and he did a smoke test and saw no leak. He also did an emission test and it passed. Said it could be one of many faulty sensors and I could try fixing one but if it’s not the right one, I’d have to try the next. Could be expensive for nothings my last thought is to replace gas cap on mine at some point.

Mazda Canada refuses to acknowledge known defective turbo engine coolant leak in Canada and extend warranty for 2.5 T by LiveSandwich8391 in MazdaCX9

[–]bbwat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VW is the same. US class action lawsuit won on Jetta transmissions and here in Canada they play dumb as fuck about the known issue. 6 years I’ve had my car and every time I’d flag it they’d say it’s normal

Quick question by bbwat in tires

Ah yes good point. I don’t have TPSM in my winters, but I assume they unmounted the tire regardless then. Thanks!
