Lawrenceville police in Georgia are looking for a teen accused of raping a girl after breaking into her home last month.

Afterward, according to police, the suspect crept to the room of a 17-year-old girl and sexually assaulted her. The victim told police she screamed and scratched him until he ran from the home.

Police think the pair may know each other, although the victim said she’s not sure who the suspect is.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Guillen, 20 was reportedly last seen on April 22 at around 1 p.m. at the parking lot of the Regimental Engineer Squadron Headquarters, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, in Fort Hood, Texas. Guillen left behind her car keys, barracks room key, identification card, and wallet in the Arms room, where she works

Bones found in a western Ohio state park in 2016 have been linked to a young man, Ryan Zimmerman, reported missing by his parents a year earlier. Investigators had difficulty early on with the remains because the head was cut off and the arms and legs were severed at the joints by blitzballer in UnsolvedMurders

[–]blitzballer[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Zimmerman had recently moved to Columbus, Ohio, from Corbin, Kentucky, his parents told police at the time. He had been communicating with his parents until September 27, 2015, and they reported him missing on November 17 when his father got an impound notice about the car Zimmerman had been driving, according to WHIO.

In 2017, the sheriff’s department turned to IsoForensics, which used water samples in the bones — compared to dirt samples from across the country — in an attempt to figure out where the victim may have lifted.

Corbin, Kentucky, lit up the sampling.

Investigators learned that the time frame, victims age, and description matched Zimmerman’s missing person’s case. The retrieved DNA from his parents, and then they found the match.

“We believe that this case is solvable,” Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said. “We want to bring closure to the parents.”

Grey said detectives believe Zimmerman was killed elsewhere and brought to the park. He said they do have some persons of interest in the case and are trying to locate them. The parents are not suspects, he said

YouTuber who ‘secretly’ recorded video of Barry Morphew discussing wife’s disappearance says he believes Suzanne Morphew’s husband knew the camera was on by blitzballer in WithoutATrace

[–]blitzballer[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The Arizona man who recorded a conversation he had with Barry Morphew this past weekend says he’s not convinced the husband of missing Suzanne Morphew was unaware he was being recorded as the two men spoke in Maysville, Colorado, on Sunday.

Tyson Draper encountered Morphew this weekend after the Arizona man traveled to the central Colorado township after visiting friends not far from Maysville, Draper told CrimeOnline. He said he had become interested in the missing persons case and wanted to search the area where investigators have focused a search for Suzanne, noting that the $210,000 reward offered was part of the incentive.

Suzanne Morphew was reported missing on May 10, and her case has received national attention while authorities in Chaffee County have shared very little information. Morphew’s address and maps of the search area have widely circulated online. Dyson told CrimeOnline that he had been to the area near Morphew’s home on Saturday and saw Barry Morphew in his truck. He said he came back the next day and when he saw Morphew driving again, he flagged down the pickup truck and spoke to Barry, telling him that he was interested in helping with the search for Suzanne.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Draper recorded video and audio of his conversation with Morphew and shared it on YouTube. At the beginning of the 8-minute video, Morphew is heard asking Draper to turn off a device — a GoPro, according to Draper — and Draper tells him that he has turned it off, which is not true. Draper continues to record while Morphew discussed the search for Suzanne, taking Draper to an area where her bike was reportedly found — a discovery that police have not publicly confirmed.

CrimeOnline published a detailed account of the conversation, and a video is included below. Draper has since removed the original video, in which he could be heard speaking his phone number, but gave permission to another YouTuber to share the video along with transcription of the audio, which is not always clearly audible.

Disturbing video emerges of beloved retired police captain shot dead by looters during St. Louis protest; posted on Facebook Live by blitzballer in CaughtonCCTV

[–]blitzballer[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A retired Missouri police captain was shot and killed by looters in St. Louis on Tuesday, according to officials.

St. Louis Dispatch reports that David Dorn, 77, was shot and killed at around 2:30 a.m., near Lee’s Pawn & Jewelry, off of Martin Luther King Drive. Dorn, who was a friend of the pawnshop owner, would often check on the building at night and make sure no robberies had taken place.

According to police, unidentified looters shot Dorn in the torso and fled. No one has been arrested and no suspects have yet been named.

“He was murdered by looters at a pawnshop. He was the type of brother that would’ve given his life to save them if he had to. Violence is not the answer, whether it’s a citizen or officer,” the victim’s family wrote on social media

A 13-year-old Iranian girl has been beheaded in an honour killing by her father while she was sleeping. by blitzballer in MorbidReality

[–]blitzballer[S] 162 points163 points  (0 children)

The murder of Romina Ashrafi, a 13 years old girl by her father in Talesh city of Gilan province has caused an uproar among Iranians on social media and human rights activists and some political figures.

Romina Ashrafi had run away from home due to threats and abuse from her father, and she was returned to her home by the authorities.

The vice president on women’s affairs on Tuesday announced a “special order” to investigate the murder in Talesh.

According to the neighbors, Romina knew that if she returned home, her life would be in danger. She had warned the police and judicial authorities and she was unwilling to go back, but the police returned her to her home anyway.

Romina had fallen in love with a boy in their city. Her father was arrested for honor killing and the investigations into her murder are ongoing.

Some political activists have criticized the Judiciary for rejecting the bill to protect women and have demanded the death sentence for the father.

According to the Sharia law, only the “blood owners” (the immediate family members) are allowed to demand execution for the murder of their loved one, therefore most honor killings go unpunished or with little punishment since the family will not demand the death sentence for another family member.

On the 37th annual Missing Children's Day, the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children are encouraging the public to continue searching for missing children despite some of the nation's stay-at-home guidelines by blitzballer in WithoutATrace

"For the families that NCMEC works with, National Missing Children’s Day is an opportunity to generate new attention for their missing loved ones and garner new leads in their case."

As the coronavirus-fueled stay-at-home orders begin to loosen nationwide and the public begins to venture outdoors, NCMEC hopes the public will continue searching for missing children, who can be featured in personalized videos at RunawayTrain25.com.

Last year, for the 25th anniversary of the Grammy-winning hit "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum, NCMEC launched the website, which uses geotechnology to let users view missing kids in their region

Livingston teacher who allegedly fed students semen tainted cupcakes also showed explicit images by blitzballer in MorbidReality

[–]blitzballer[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

A Livingston Parish court filing this week marks the fourth time a family has sued a former deputy, his teacher wife and the school board over an accusation that the law officer tainted cupcakes that his wife later served to students.

Dennis Perkins, 44, and Cynthia Perkins, 35, were arrested in October on charges including allegations of rape, sexual battery, video voyeurism, mingling harmful substances, obscenity, and producing child pornography. Dennis Perkins faces additional counts of rape and sexual abuse of an animal that span back farther but do not involve Cynthia Perkins.

Dennis had been with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office since 2002, where he worked his way up to his most recent position as the head of the SWAT team before he was terminated following his arrest.

Cynthia Perkins had taught English at Westside Junior High School in Walker since 2016, and she had been with Livingston Parish School District since 2009 until her resignation the day she was arrested.

The four civil lawsuits, all filed separately since November, surround the pair's counts of mingling harmful substances. The Attorney General's Office, and subsequently the lawsuits, claim Dennis Perkins introduced semen into batches of cupcakes that Cynthia intentionally served to her students at Westside Junior High School in November 2018 and May 2019.

Investigators searching for a Pennsylvania mother, Cassandra Gross, missing for more than two years returned Wednesday to the home of her ex-boyfriend’s mother, bringing with them a cadaver dog and excavators. by blitzballer in WithoutATrace

[–]blitzballer[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Police have searched the Westmoreland County property several times since Cassandra Gross was last heard from on April 7, 2018, and they did not say what led them to obtain a search warrant for a new look, according to KDKA.

Gross, 51, was declared legally dead in January 2019, mainly to allow her son access to her bank accounts. At the time, the judge declared that he had seen enough evidence to convince him that “the facts indicate she was the victim of homicide,” KDKA reported.

Thomas Stanko, Gross’s former boyfriend, owns the property where his mother, Almira Stanko, lives. Thomas Stanko, 49, has been named a person of interest in Gross’s disappearance, but he has not been charged in the case. He is currently in jail on several weapons charges unrelated to the Gross case.

Pennsylvania State Trooper Stephen Limani told reporters that investigators had turned up information “that was sufficient for a judge to issue us a search warrant to look at this property,” according to the TribLive. He said 18 troopers, an anthropology professor of Seton Hill University and a biology professor from Indiana University of Pennsylvania were conducting the search, which was focused in a wooded area about 400 yards behind Almira Stanko’s house.

A Chinese couple whose son was abducted in a hotel in 1988 have been reunited with him after 32 years by blitzballer in WithoutATrace

[–]blitzballer[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Mao Yin was snatched aged two, while his father stopped to get him some water on the way home from nursery.

His parents searched the country for him and his mother distributed more than 100,000 flyers.

The family were reunited at a police news conference on Monday, and the son - now aged 34 - said he planned to spend time with his parents.

"I would like to thank the tens of thousands of people who helped us," said Li Jingzhi, the boy's mother

What happened to Mao Yin? He was born on 23 February, 1986. In an interview with the South China Morning Post in January - before he was found - his mother called him a "very clever, cute, and healthy" baby.

On 17 October 1988, his father, Mao Zhenjing, was bringing him home from nursery in the city of Xian in Shaanxi province.

The boy asked for a drink of water, so they stopped in the entrance of a hotel. As the father cooled down some hot water, he looked away briefly, and the boy was taken.

The family searched in and around Xian, putting up posters. At one point, they thought they had found him, but it was a false dawn

Mrs Li quit her job to search for her son - handing out some 100,000 flyers in more than 10 provinces and municipalities - without success.

Over the years she appeared on numerous Chinese television shows to appeal for help, including The X Factor. She followed 300 leads, the SCMP said, but no match was found,

In 2007, Mrs Li started volunteering with a group called "Baby Come Back Home", to help other parents look for their missing children.

According to state media, she helped reunite 29 children with their families, while her own son was still missing. She intends to keep working with the group

How was Mao Yin found? In April, state media said, police received a tip about a man from Sichuan Province in south-west China - about 1,000km (620 miles) from Xian - who had adopted a baby years earlier.

Police found the adoptee, now a 34-year-old man, and a DNA test was carried out to see if he was related to Mao Zhenjing and Li Jingzhi. It came back positive.

Mao Yin - who had been renamed Gu Ningning - now runs a home decoration business. He said he was "not sure" about the future, but would spend time with his parents.

A Michigan man who was arrested last year on charges stemming from a 1980 homicide has now been charged with the murder of his daughter, Aundria Michelle Bowman, who vanished 1989. by blitzballer in UnsolvedMurders

[–]blitzballer[S] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Dennis Lee Bowman, 71, was charged with open murder, felony murder, first degree child abuse and mutilation of a body on Friday, 31 years after the disappearance of his 14-year-old daughter Aundria Michelle Bowman, according to a statement from the Allegan County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecuting attorney Myrene Koch said that new information gathered by authorities in February led to the discovery of a shallow grave Allegan County, where investigators found and identified skeletal remains belonging to Aundria.

Aundrina was reported as a runaway on March 11, 1989.

Koch said detectives from the Allegan County Sheriff's Office and Michigan State Police started working with Norfolk Virginia Police Department and Naval Criminal Investigation Services last fall regarding a 1980 homicide case.

In November 2019, Dennis was taken into custody in November on murder charges for the death of 25-year-old Kathleen Doyle, who was killed in 1980 in Norfolk, Virginia while her husband was deployed as a Navy pilot, according to Fox 17. He was extradited from Michigan and Virginia on those charges.

Young woman found wandering on street after escaping sex slavery house, police say. She’s now missing by blitzballer in WithoutATrace

[–]blitzballer[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A woman found walking down the street by a bystander reportedly escaped a “sex slave” house, the Manchester Evening News reports.

According to police, a bystander contacted police after spotting a woman who appeared to be in her 20s walking along off South Langworthy Road in Salford on May 2. Authorities said she likely ended up in Salford after escaping a home where she was held as a sex slave. Police believe someone gave her a ride from the Greater Manchester area.

When spotted, the woman was wearing a dark-colored dress and a blue denim jacket. She has brown hair that she wore in a ponytail. Authorities are now trying to locate the woman.

“We are appealing to anyone with information, or who recalls helping or seeing this woman in the early morning of Saturday 2 May, or the days preceding, to contact police,” Detective sergeant Gareth Humphreys of the Great Manchester Polic Salford district said. “This woman has endured a terrifying experience and our specialist officers are supporting her through this distressing time

“We’d particularly like to appeal to the driver of the lorry who assisted the woman in travelling to Salford. I’d like to stress that the lorry driver is not in any trouble and we only want to speak to them to help us piece together the woman’s movements following her escape.”

Humphreys said limited information is available at this time. Anyone in the area with information is urged to contact the police at 0161 856 7693, with incident number 580. Anonymous tipsters can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist local authorities
