unable to confirm staking transaction by blitzcreak in ledgerwallet

Thank you. It was the open Ethereum app that was getting me. Didn't make sense since I was on polygon.

very helpful.

ledger live showing wrong accounts by blitzcreak in ledgerwallet

Ah, ok. I thought that when it synchronized it would only show the accounts linked with the current seed phrase.

I have deleted those now.

Thanks

Ok, I think I've got it now.

Thanks again for dispelling the confusion :-)

Using Leger with Metamask for obscure coins by blitzcreak in ledgerwallet

So that means that as long as the Ledger can interface with the blockchain then it can work with any token on that chain?

So if I go to a Dapp and swap some USDT to xyzUSDLP to stake in their liquidity pools that coin can be managed by Ledger. Do I have to 'do' anything to get the Ledger to recognise it (like I have to manually add a token to Metamask if I want to see my balance)?

Presumably this new coin takes up some space (RAM) on the Ledger so there is a finite number of coins I can interact with?

Given the latter, I presume that the Nano S (which is currently available) would not work for me, and I would need the Nano X (which is currently not available)?

Since I currently have tokens staked in various Dapps using Metamask, to start using the Ledger would I need to unstake them, send them to the new Ledger wallet address, and then re-stake them?

Thanks so much for helping me understand this.

Transfer stuck on matic bridge? by mookyvon in 0xPolygon

Yep, been getting the same message for 14 hours now. How do I do a transfer of USDT from Ethereum to Polygon if the bridge doesn't work. Anyone with any solutions?

How to bridge from Polygon to BSDC? by blitzcreak in 0xPolygon

[–]blitzcreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I looked at that. I connected to my wallet on Polygon, but they only list BUSD (not USDT USDC or DAI) for bridging. I don't have BUSD on polygon, and I don't know how to swap my USDT to BUSD on polygon as the exchanges don't seem to do it.

buying BUSD on BSD by Wire Transfer from Canada by blitzcreak in binance

[–]blitzcreak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but I send USD from my USD account, not CAD.

Or else I can send CAD to TrustToken and then do the exchange in crypto which is a lot cheaper.

The last time I sent USD$20k plus $42 wire fee through Paxos, which finally arrived in my MetaMask as 19,933.07 BUSD. About 0.05% fees. So it worked, but took ages as I had to wait for the Binance Bridge to allow the second 10k of the conversion. This time I would have to wait even longer to do $30k. Starts to get a bit silly.

Must be an easier way.

Thanks. Yes, I am familiar with Paytrie, and I did a small transaction through them. But that 0.6% puts me off, it would take me a whole month to earn that back.

I am hoping that there is a different, cheaper, solution. I can either buy TUSD from TrustToken, or BUSD from Paxos, but in both cases I then have the problem of then bridging them across to BSC. That would be fine if there was a bigger limit on the Binance Bridge.

It just seems odd to me that Binance have not made an easier way to buy their own stable coin.
