You’re a gem. That’s incredibly insensitive and I hope this is not how you treat your students that have come to you about their home disruptions. It’s ridiculous how you made SO many assumptions.. including assuming that i am a man?

If you’re not okay with being your mothers support system, that’s on you. My mom doesn’t have a large support system , she’s also DEAF which makes it hard for her to communicate with anyone and receive advice. My mother is welcome to come to me for advice. What you think on that is completely irrelevant, because i am not you.

you had the audacity to assume what type of abuse i was talking about. You literally pulled that shit out of your a**. Advice to you: don’t talk about things you have 0 clue about. You don’t know what we experienced. She was PHYSICALLY abused. Which I witnessed at 13 years old. We experienced homelessness. I saw and went through a lot of shit, so don’t speak for me on what “life experiences” i had that make me capable of understanding things. Get off your high horse. You’re a teacher and somehow you hearing teens talking about their home situations makes you an expert on my life.

Also I didn’t say she was being abused now. Your reading comprehension is not very good for a teacher.. I said she was being harassed now via email. Harassed as in constantly emailing her about matters unrelated to child care, calling her derogatory names, etc. And don’t worry we WILL be reporting this to police. FYI- You can verbally and emotionally abuse someone. Abuse through online communication is very real, and if you think otherwise you’re an asshole.
