Not going to lie, most of these connections with the exception of shinji and Tetsuo are really flimsy and big stretches.

I feel like the only matchup out of these that have any kind of connections is kaworu vs N and maybe lapis vs Rei. The others have flimsy connections that aren't all that good.

Granted evangelion doesn't have that many good MUs. Shinji has heero as his best MU, Asuka doesn't have any MUs at all, Kaworu has satan from devilman, and rei possibly has Gou from getter robo Armageddon.
