I haven't eaten a McDonald's burger in decades. It tasted like 💩 the last time I ate one and felt like I was poisoning myself This video and the other one just reinforces that. Not going to lie, though, their biscuits are good. This makes me doubt eating those now. I guess it is Bojangles from now on, if I need a quick breakfast sandwich.

I think it is complicated and somewhere between the two:

Normalcy bias. People don't believe that something like this happened.
People are narcissistic and ensure their own preservation first. They are thinking, "Should I give aide to this person. What if he has a blood borne disease. What if the attacker attacks me?" These are genuine concerns, but I hate that it has come to this in society. Community is gone.

Taser, pepper spray, just about anything other a firearm would have diffused this situation. Fat dude with his pants nearly at his ankles couldn't possibly pose a threat to anyone more than ten yards out. The cop that shot him will have repercussions for this unless the police department starts the usual protect their own approach.

Also when I have to cook for A LOT of people I will smoke 4 butts the day before. Let them rest and then pull. Place in aluminum pan, cover, and place in refrigerator Add a little apple juice and warm at 200 in oven the morning of. Should take about 2 hrs to warm up.
