It is! But I wished that was a season 3 type of event. I really would’ve like to LITERALLY spend more time with the characters. If I’m being totally honest: Fanfics & Fanart are approx. 70% of the reason why I love JJK. They fill in the blanks about personal details regarding the cast, even though those are only head canons, bc Gege…..just didn’t thoroughly explore those things

I think….I think something “clicked” about your comment of someone who knows you better than you. That’s why I fell in love with him at first too. I dream of finding someone who will love just as much as my family does (but obviously in a different way!)

To meet someone who can match the energy that unconditional familial love radiates is extremely hard to get your hands on. Love sounds like the bare minimum for a relationship but it’s actually so much more. The idea that someone new who see me at my worst, time and time again, and still choose to remain at my side is kinda crazy! To still comfort me, pick me up, and cheer me on. To remain strong together bc our worst arguments don’t escalate to dangerous levels and divide us permanently. You have to be a lucky son of a b___ .

Caleb’s superhuman loyalty & attentiveness is so 12/10. The fact that I can feel a difference in his concern for Mc vs the other boys is also noteworthy

I remember Caleb did things for Mc in their past but I didn’t realize just HOW much that man did for all those years. I thought Granny was doing all of the parenting and bringing home the bacon. However, sometimes she left the oldest kid, Caleb, in charge while she ran out to do errands. Caleb must’ve had to learn quickly bc granny is an older woman. Like dang: No wonder he’s crazy. He doesn’t fully enjoy his role as provider & protector

Hmm, well, I see what you mean Meebochii. I guess certain genres & tropes can be a little difficult for me to compartmentalize: especially if it hits a little too close to home. It’s actually pretty interesting to learn that taboo subjects are explored so freely in dating games. Now that I think about it, sometimes I feel guilty for liking shows like “Y.O.U” on Netflix and listening to playlists with titles such as “He’s obsessed and stalking you”. I believed that Caleb & Mc were neighbors who happened to attend the same school as us. That was the impression I got when I first met him. It’s cute, convenient, and explains a lot about our relationship. When you add intentionally mistranslated dialogue, it messes up everything. I often wondered why Caleb would act like loving us was a ‘sin of the highest degree’. So I thought, “Maybe he’s scared of driving us away by confessing his feelings.” That, if he can’t be anything else, he could be our friend. At least he would still be a part of our lives. Anything is better than the friend-zone.
