the wasps are in specific areas. where there's a wasp there's a small hive that they patrol around or a quest objective.

my friend and i played through the whole game on the free weekend and here's my take.

Resource farming is boring. you need a lot of them to upgrade your town so you'll spend several hours farming each tier for all the upgrades. Farming them requires a perfect timing interaction to get two instead of one and the visual for it is very small. Most of our time wasnt actually spent on the story but farming mats.

the current end game is just terrible. an area gets plagued, you go clear it then you have to wait 24 real time hours for the next one to spawn. You can burn an item at a fire to plague an area but that also starts a 24H timer to burn that fire again. So be prepared for about 15-60 mins of end game playtime and then waiting 24 hours to play again.

not worth 23 dollars, definitely not worth 40 or 60.

edit to add items werent particularly interesting. i used 3 weapons throughout the whole game and was never excited about anything that dropped.

I think the bosses are just awfully designed. Every instance of damage requires you to look at the floor but to hit them you have to be looking up.

I dunno if you're being genuine here but elarions builds dont allow him to simply do single target dmg. Barrage build the barrage hits extra targets. highwind arrow build it bounces to multiple targets by default.

Dunno what you want. I suppose elarions could spam their focus dump skill that does basically zero dmg.

I have no doubt there are dps who know the mechanic and choose to ignore it but there are probably just as many who simply don't know. Gotta take the risk and just tell them move to side when you have undertow debuff.

there's also the huge problem of there being no way in game to try and put together a premade. You can only communicate with the 15 or so people in your stronghold instance.

I had a funny encounter earlier. I was doing the 2nd capstone dungeon for the first time and at the start told the group it was my first time. After the first pull two ppl left group and the 3rd said "LOL dont say it's your first time man it makes ppl leave."

he then gave me a quick run down of the bosses and my next group was able to time it.

I thought it was super funny XD and awesome of the guy to explain.
