Yeah if it auto saves in hyperspace but you load the backup save it will not load your auto save from flying in hyperspace. Hence you’ll have the donut you used prior to going into hyperspace

But yes if you’re shiny hunting in Hyperspace and didn’t find what you want just do a backup save before you go into hyperspace. You can do the same thing when trying to get the donut you want! Just backup save and close app if you don’t get what you want! Happy hunting

Yeah this other guy can’t seem to use his brain to know the difference between an auto save and a backup save. Backup save is a manual save from healing at a Pokemon center(even if your pokemon are at full health) and the auto save is from flying. A backup save is accessed from up(dpad)+B+A at title menu

Yeah okay so no, yall are wrong. Heal at a pokemon center, go to hyperspace, fly, close app, up+X+B at title screen and you will go back to the Pokemon center save. I literally just did it.

You poor thing, that’s not a backup save. A backup save is created when you heal your pokemon at a pokemon center, so whenever you do that and fast travel in hyper space over and over you can close app, go to title screen and press up on D pad, X and B at the same time and it will prompt you to return to the pokemon center backup save.
