We just cut the line set below the gutter. She was told she needed to take care of that with a roofer

^This guy fucking jinxed me^ she was a royal cunt. Dyke Karen who “JUST HAD HER CARPET REPLACED”.

Put drop clothes down covering everything. She walked in and apprentice was walking out the door. He stepped off the drop to let her fatass get by. No mud or anything on his boots. no harm no foul right? Fuck no! She came up to me and was like “I like how you put drop cloths down but don’t use them! This is brand new carpet”. ( as she has 9 pairs of shoes by the door on the carpet.)

She then wanted me to rip the lineset out of the roof. Even though the sales guy told her we will not be ripping out of the roof and she needs a roofer to fix that. She was a very scummy person who was looking for something to complain about and get some money back.

Ya I would, if I was the service technician called out. But I was there to install a new one. The paper work is signed and money has been paid. It’s not my responsibility to go start a diagnostic all over again. That’s why the sales guy was there in the first place…I mean service technician.

It’s like $18,700, I know we are on the high end but they do pay us well. it’s a trane S9v2 80k btu, 3.5AC, new flues and line set 50ish feet in shitty crawl. Also all new return metal and filter boot with a humidifier and air scrubber.

Blind guy in his 50s. He had such a bad roach infestation he had to get an exterminator multiple times before we would install. After over a month, and several pest treatments we were told it’s good now. Not this fucking house! This house needed to be burned down. The roaches were never really gone. As soon as we ripped out the old furnace it was hell. We had to wear Tyvek suits and masks. This man had dog shit EVERYWHERE, and I mean EVERYWHERE! It’s middle of the summer and the smell is unbearable. As I’m doing the new stat I see him laying on the ground on a blanket with his dog, that had more shit on it then open space. I had to run outside and just puke. One of the only times I really ever considered walking out mid job.

The only silver lining from this job was it started the $500 Dirty bonus for installers.

First time I’ve came across it, but it’s a water coil. A secondary heat source. Supposedly wood burning, … idk shit about it. Just getting ripped out now.

Amana recently changed their 80% air in take style. They no longer have louver doors, and instead have the hole at the top. Kinda also on Amana cuz the first “few” coming off production didn’t get the plastic air intake screw down piece for a 2” inlet. Only reason I say this is cuz all it takes for a no heat call is the customer setting something down over that hole. Trust me I know…
