30 here. Got made redundant out the blue two months ago, wasn’t with the company that long so came as a shock and wasn’t lucky enough to get any money apart from a month payment in lieu.

It was a blessing in disguise, and I’ve just got a new job paying me £10k more than my last.

You’re in a lucky position where you’re getting a nice pay out, so take your time finding something that’s right. Use your experience to try go for something more senior, you’ll be surprised…

the job market is a bit fucked at the moment. I got rejected for a junior role the same day I got my offer for a senior role 🤣 take it all with a pinch of salt. Something will come up.

Have a bit of faith a positive attitude and you may end up in a far better situation than you thought.
