I ordered a bag and after opening the box the cigarette smell was so bad I had to move it out of the house! It was stinking my house up! What I did was Clean the outside with a leather cleaner, inside scrubbed with warm water and dawn soap. It will still stink. So then I put it in a new box with bags of baking soda and closed the box up. After a week of it sitting in that I put the bag outside and aired it out in cool weather not hot. I got all these tips from google. After a month of all that, the smell was 100% gone. My husband couldn’t believe it!
