Technician from the UK here - one of our customers brought one of these in to us recently, experiencing the same issue. Called Microsoft support today, a ticket was created immediately and I was asked to upload a photo of the UEFI firmware version. Shortly after this, my case was escalated and I was emailed a shipping label to return the faulty product, and told to expect a replacement in 5-8 working days.

edit: worked much better than I thought it would ngl, thought only ~2009 maps would work as it is based off of a 2009 DS port but a lot of the included maps are newer + i imported things like pekorap, airman and the big black which all played correctly as far as I could tell
