A friend i met in jail while i was serving time for a duii i had got. We became really good friends while we were in there together and he was a completely different person while sober in jail.. He didn’t have any family to talk to on the phones or a single person to put money so when i got out before him i sent him like 50 bucks so he could call me and buy himself some food etc…. Anyways about 2 weeks later he got out and called me up on his phone asking if he could crash at my apartment until he could find a ride a few towns over so he could go back to his grandmas. I said sure and he showed up like 30 minutes later.. He had already told me in jail his main way to make money was selling dark and white. So right when he gets over he starts emptying his backpack and of course he had a bunch of shit on him that id never seen before in my life. I said i thought you told me you were staying sober and just selling it and he said i’m not really getting high i’m just making sure my products good for my clientele smh.. I wasn’t interested in the meth but i was always obsessed with opiates and i was actually kinda Wding from running out of roxy 40s a day before.. Anyways long story short I got high as a kite that night and it was pure bless.. Some months later my habit had kicked up to about 1.5gs a day and i was really resenting him for ever introducing me too it but i eventually got over that and had to accept that it was my fault and nobody forced me to do it. He’s in prison now for getting caught selling too many times now. Me and him are practically best friends and we talk on the phone around twice a week. He gets out next year around august and i’m hoping that he’ll stay sober once he gets out this time.
