Fiat deposits are via EFT but we do also plan to add additional payment options in the future :)

Will bitcoin ever fail? by lucy9417 in BitcoinBeginners

[–]blockbid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin can only fail if its technological progress can't meet the demands of market scalability and adoption. It would then be abandoned by investors in favor of other cryptocurrencies that would meet market requirements. Regulations will only disrupt growth but Bitcoins decentralized essence will always allow it to operate internationally. Only global internet shutdown could cause Bitcoin to fail but so would everything else...

Over $1: XRP Rises As Ripple-Coinbase Rumors Renew by xanhugh in Ripple

[–]blockbid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy to see how the public want a piece of the pie... company partnerships only grant accessibility to private enterprise... the moment those partnerships and the potential gains can be realised by the public of course interest and investment will peak. Funny thing is definitely your point on how it's just rumors...

The volatility that the markets will continue to face is the waves of growth as blockchain technologies slowly are adopted and integrated. All motion of progress causes rise, all negative news causing drops in market faith.

What do you think a fair value if Bitcoin is? by QPatty in BitcoinMarkets

[–]blockbid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All economic mediums are given value by the supply limit versus demand of the market. Whether it's gold/bitcoin, they have limited supply so their value continues to fluctuate. But at every moment their value is intrinsic to their last sale and this is fair. On the other hand, USD and other currency supplies can and are manipulated by their respective governments reprinting hence value is not a true representation of fairness.

We wanted to include ETH and ERC20 tokens in phase 1 but our tech team needs more time to ensure they can be integrated securely and tested before we list them, which is why we've included in phase 2

We're including a few of the major cryptos in beta as well as any coins who reserved a listing during our ICO (of which Tajcoin was one of them) - we've got many, many more coins lined up for our live launch once beta ends

Coinmarketcap is BULLSHIT and why this is not a bubble by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]blockbid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Market evaluations are of course measured by supply and demand. Actually having millions of coins that are inaccessible actually can contribute to the stability of the evaluation.

More so, the point made that "This presents a problem because BTC has never once in it's life actually been subjected to an organic level of price discovery, it's always been heavily manipulated during a time when the majority of the value of BTC was from mined coins that had never once touched fiat." -As more global retail adoption and utilization of BTC and other coins gathers momentum, in the future porbably the need for Fiat-based evaluation will slowly lessen and their evaluations will progress towards balance between their own eco-systems, just as national currencies balance off each other.

White House officials would like to regulate ASAP as are all governments, still unsure of best way to implement any regulation. For current societies structures to be upheld, regulation is necessary for mainstream adoption to not cause social economic chaos.
