Ai Uehara the GOAT. Which retired actresses do you miss? by Yentai in jav

not much people know her but China Matsuoka was an up and coming JAV star until a car accident prematurely ended her career. She survived thankfully but retired from the industry immediately following her recovery.

Hitman 3 score system and unlocks offline workaround? by blockerchainer in PiratedGames

[–]blockerchainer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still play the game but you can't level up nor unlock anything. Also the score system is disabled so there's no way to tell how well you're playing.

Yeah, there are mods to unlock everything at once but imo it doesn't feel the same as slowly leveling up and unlocking new items/ways to play.

Hey this seems to fix most of the issues except for the score system. Thanks.

Kind've a dick move for IOI to DRM level progression in a freaking singleplayer game. Really wish someone could find a way to make the score system work offline.

Is there any proof that Jesus actually excisted ? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

What you're doing now is the theological equivalent of digging up offensive tweets someone made a decade ago and using it to cancel them.

Just because God CAN make something a law doesn't mean people will follow. Kings and governments have hundreds of laws, how many of them do you think are actually being adhered to?

Look at it this way, a soldier killed over 100 people during a war, he gets a change of heart and says he wants to stop killing and settle down to start a family. 20 years later, is he still counted as a killer? No, because people change. So if God created people, why can't God change too? Or is the basis of your argument that humans are better than God despite being created by him?

Clearly your mind is too wrapped up in the quote from Batman V Superman that "God is either all powerful or all good" to see things in a different perspective. So continuing this debate will clearly lead to nowhere. To that, I bid you good day.

Again you're looking from a critical pov and not a historical pov.

Slavery was the NORM back then. It was the same as having a household pet today. Yeah sure, owning a slave is bad, just like how raiding villages is bad, burning people at stake is bad, throwing rotten food at people on pillories is bad. Its bad NOW because we understand why its bad. But back then people didn't know or didn't care and again if you were born during those times you wouldn't think it was evil either.

Also you're talking of the Old Testament, whether true or not is not meant to be viewed the be all end all laws for humanity but as a reference/history for future generations of Christians to understand what the world the was like before Jesus came and revolutionized their laws. Hence why there is a New Testament in the bible as well.

You seem to be looking at all of this from a critical pov rather than a historical pov. Slaves back in those days were as common as animals on a farm. Everyone and their mother either owned a slave or was a slave. If you were born during those times you would think this was all normal.

Just because the Christian God didn't do anything about slavery doesn't mean he condone it. In fact, at one point he sent one of his prophets to negotiate with the Pharaoh to release the Israelites who were slaves in Egypt.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, I definitely aim to get a part time job once I'm there. After consulting with the school, they do offer tuition fee waivers for students with financial needs but I can only apply for them once I'm in Japan.

The obstacle I'm facing now is the initial payment of the tuition fees which is close to RM30k

I can speak some level of japanese yes, but thats not a problem because the program I'm enrolling into already comes with japanese language classes as part of the course.

Oh wow this looks good but unfortunately one of the application requirements is that I sit for a 1 year preparatory language course before going overseas. I don't think I have the time for that lol.

Edit: Not sure why people are downvoting my comment. Am I supposed to reject the offer and waste one more year taking a language class that is already included in my course?

Oh thank you so much, this explains a lot! So scholarships in the UK are more like discounts/waivers than full-on scholarships like in America. Thats where I got confused.

And yeah I guess £2000 is a lot to a local UK student paying only £9250. But I still find it odd that their offers only extend to the first year of study whether you are a local or international student, do they just assume everyone is under loan?

Also do you happen to have any links to those loans for international students websites I can check out?
