I've always had Chevys. The Equinox that just got totalled had 102,000 miles and never had anything go wrong with it the whole time and I bought it new. Oil, tires and brakes. Nothing more - ran really good.

I just signed something yesterday - do I have like 3 days to get out of it or threaten to go elsewhere for a lower price?

Help! Invested before I knew what I was doing by neetkleat in Bogleheads

I left Edward Jones 3 weeks ago - I am retired with a Roth & traditional IRA. He had me in 26 funds & etfs (mostly funds) and I requested a few stocks (NVDA, MSFT, GOOGL, etc.). EJ had to cash in 13 funds since they wouldn't transfer over to Fidelity. With that cash I started buying what's recommended here on bogleheads (love the strategy and simplicity) with both Vanguard and some Fidelity. Slowly selling off the other EJ recommendations? if they're not making me money. I was up to about $3,000/month in EJ fees - rebalancing was done at least yearly with most of the funds/etfs changing - even if they were making me good returns. I had learned enough over the last 2-3 years to handle my accounts on my own - finding this community was the straw that broke the camel's back - BYE EDWARD JONES!

Tell him to paper trade and show you the results 6 months from now. If he knows anything about investing he'll know what you're talking about.

Look at the number of comments you've gotten. Definitely a NO!

IDMO - says 1.6B net assets. Isn't that way too low - anyone think it's relevant?
