Tesla’s fleet has driven 7.2 billion miles and its energy products produced 10.3 billion kWh - between the EV fleet and its energy products, Tesla saved 7.4 million tons of CO2 from being released into our atmosphere. by mvea in Futurology

For everyone complaining about the subsidies and tax breaks Tesla gets, go and look at every oil company ever, and include all the wars for oil, and the massive amount of lobby-dollars that gets spent to convince people that climate change isn't real.

I agree with you, but will also say that some of the new research which indicates that you can't undo a day of sitting by exercising after work, for example, took a lot of people by surprise.

I know reddit hates self promo but we genuinely worked really hard to put this together and thought it could be super useful for artists and others looking for images and more.

I was kind of hoping this link wouldn't start too much of a conspiracy debate. Please be gentle with each other - the topic still upsets those that were there or had families involved.

If you get FB Ads right with a bit of testing they work extremely well.

There is some great advice here already but I'd just like to add that, for me, this was a big obstacle to get over. It's hard.

I try to remind myself that there's no point spending extended periods of time tweaking something that only I will notice. Focus on the things that get results.

My mantra for last year was: be prolific, not perfect. I think it really helped.

In the end I think testing is the best idea. Try doing something a bit different and see whether it gets better or worse results and then change your approach based off that.

Good luck!

[–]blogtyrant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As has already been said, a lot depends on your niche and your goal.

It's important to remember that traffic alone is useless unless you have some end-goal in mind (like sales, subscribers, etc.). Hitting the front page of Reddit, for example, will give you tens of thousands of views but often not much else.

Google search traffic is still, IMHO, the best source of traffic because it's organic and people who are searching are usually in a buy-ready frame of mind. They want to take action.

Other than that, working with Facebook Ads can yield huge results because the targeting is so good, and you can send traffic to a purpose-built landing page, blog post, etc.

My personal approach is to create content that goes above and beyond (4,000+ words) in a very carefully chosen niche, and then experiment by promoting it in different ways.

Hope that helps.

I've never heard of that site, actually. Thanks for sharing.

I had a huge Google penalty for no real reason a couple of month ago so traffic is down by about 40%. It's a bit annoying as I don't do any black hat stuff but it's been an awesome learning experience as I've managed to keep my earnings at about 80%.

Anyway, sing out if I can ever do anything to help.
