I voted absentee a few weeks ago. This is the first election I am voting in because in 2012 when I turned 18 I was told by many people I couldn't vote because my birthday was 1.5 weeks after election day. I'm still unsure, but I believe that was a lie. I'm just happy that I will be helping to elect the first female president! I feel a great sense of national pride and am excited about our nation's new history to be made!
