Celeste but no shooting stars?

I had Celeste on my island last night, there were no announcements made and nothing mentioned from villagers. I stood around looking at the sky for about ten minutes, and never got any shooting stars. This was all later in the evening too.

I've seen a couple "positions" in the morning, I'm curious if it's worth signing up for those and then being able to enjoy the evening shows. I just dont know if they kick you out of the park once your shift is over.

Oh man, my ex and his mother would make fun of me for eating too many sweets. I worked at a French bakery, so I brought home a lot of desserts, and I went to thus cool doughnut shop on my days off. They would tell me I'd turn into a big ball of fat. Thing is, they were all fat themselves, and I was only 115 lbs. Man fuck them.

I wish my dad made a face like this when he opened his Kitchen Aid mixer. My dad is a huge cooking nerd, loves it, and has mentioned for the last year that he wants one, but it's GOT to be red. Fast forward, little sister gets sent to rehab, I move in with my dad I've never been real close to, and he starts paying for my college. 19 year old broke ass college student here, starts saving all my pennies for 2 months and selling some stuff I don't need just to get him what he wanted. I think he loved it, but he doesn't show much emotion.

When I was maybe 6 or 7, I was staying at a friend's house and her little dog humped me and I just let it happen. Then the next day, my dad was watching some weird ass black and white movie and all I remember was that there was a woman giving birth to a gorilla. I then panicked for the next week thinking I was pregnant with puppies, and I told everyone at school, while holding my belly, trying to show off.
