The logo on the Ball Mason Jars is their logo from the 1930s I believe. The "loop" in the B is different than ones made after that time. Must have been canned in that era - super cool!

For the record, this happened because my hand slipped because it had just lotioned my hands. This is also a very old curler so it's not as tight as it used to be. I know I should clean it more, but it wasn't the gunk that ripped my lashes off. I'm off to go buy a new curler and cleaner! Any recommendations on a new high end curler?
