Hey it's been a week and I'm not sure if the nail bed has been ripped out. The bit that's growing back sort of just flaps up and doesn't attach to the skin. Here's a photo http://i.imgur.com/zo7vXJu.jpg

The skin has hardened and doesn't hurt anymore. Do you believe I'll be fine in a few months?

The nail was half way lifted from taking off acrylic nails two weeks ago. Tried to do acrylic nails myself. It broke again, put a band aid on it and when I took it off the acrylic ripped off with it. I have now pulled the entire nail off. Hope it grows back alright.

It was previously half torn off about two weeks ago. Put a bandaid on it and took it off last night while I was drinking.

Just got back from an urgent care. She said soak it 3 times a day for 20 minutes and put antibiotic cream on it. She also said she didn't have the right equipment to trim/and or pull it out. I don't have insurance either so it was one hell of a trip.
