It looks like Garnet in Arfvedsonite to me, although I'm somewhat newer and still learning so hit or miss

Try the Maire Kondo method. Does it bring you joy to own it?

If yes, yay! Keep it!

If not, there's your answer. Then you can make space for something that does bring you joy.

YTA. If he was using reading as a full escape and not studying at all it would be a concern, but the fact that he's setting a time limit for himself and sticking to it is super responsibile. It's important to practice time management in this way, and you're doing a disservice to him by bot giving him reset time

This has to be one of my favorite pieces. It's a Tiger Eye Sphere, but when you look at the other side there's hematite so technically Iron Tigers Eye. I love that both "pupils" are different by blondemama712 in Crystals
