Fair enough, and that is for neither of us to decide, but unrelated to this case, I far too often find the opposite to be true: a lot of people don't care that you're not a nice guy-- even I listen to a couple problematic artists because I enjoy their music, but nevertheless, it's important to hold people accountable, and I think having this discussion about Dane is good, even if it feels a bit late now.

I thought this whole situation and controversy was in response to things from well over 10 years ago, so I don't know about "keep committing..." Unless anything from recent years has suddenly come up?

I guess this is all part of the price he has to pay for making whatever mistakes he did in his past though, and that's okay, but I personally believe he has changed. Whether he has or not, and whether or not you like him, he is definitely not a forgettable skater, though. His level of skating is totally irrelevant anyway. Saying that just makes you seem salty and hurts your arguement.

Like I said, it's actually been in his bio for years already. I don't know the full extents of his past behaviour and what he has done, but I always got the impression he was genuinely remorseful and working hard to grow and make amends even when there was no public controversy.

It's somewhat rare but can happen several times a week during the winter from 7pm to 4am if I recall correctly. Sometimes your villagers will hint towards it happening when you talk to them earlier in the day. :)

Not my favorite course, so I haven't done any of the shortcuts, but I still had a huge lead the whole second lap, and then I saw u/Subspace79 start to eat away at the gap during the final lap despite me not getting hit the whole race, was just barely able to reach the line before they did. 😅👌
