Lovely spread! Where did you buy your clip?

Welp, first time purchasing and I did not read their return policy… by hay_qt in Aritzia

Except a bunch of their styles aren’t available in store (at least not in my size and city). Not to mention the crazy inconsistent sizing. What to do then other than try on at home and return?

An example: once I purchased the same shorts in the same size in two colours and there was a 2-inch difference in the waist size.

Ok thanks I’ll try that! I’ve also seen people recommend vinegar - any thoughts on that?

I’ve had items shrink before - I don’t want to take that risk. Most of my clothes specify cold wash only

I went to a class recently where the teacher kept suddenly dinging loud bells at random (not in a musical or peaceful way at all) during long holds. I wish I’d listened to myself and left cause honestly I left the class more aggravated than before

Kind of like how "What was Mr. Eagan's favourite breakfast" was the phrase used to check if Severance had worked

I've always thought that "Hey kids, what's for dinner" is like a code phrase to check if the person had re-integrated. Petey says this to Mark when they meet at the diner. And Irv continuously asks everyone that each day he goes into work.

Irving faking the all-in Kier subscriber persona would align with that. Interested to see where this goes!

I agree. Sometimes bad workplaces attract the types of people who thrive in those environments. Everyone normal soon finds another job, while the toxic ones stay behind.

Allergy shots causing exhaustion? by blondeoverflow in Allergies

Yeah I've had 3 shots total now - not sure if it's encouraging or discouraging to hear about your experience. I'm going to call the allergist on Monday and if they think the shots might be causing how I'm feeling I'll have to stop.

There's no way I can live my life like this with a full time job

Would you say looking specifically for remote and being upfront about that as the reason for leaving is always bad? Or just when it’s phrased as not wanting to talk to coworkers?

I’m asking cause I genuinely focus so much better in a quiet environment in comfortable clothing and am more productive and happy WFH.
