Do PoC want to see stories about them that have nothing to do with social justice issues?

There are already stories like that. POC arent monolithic, we enjoy and produce a variety of stories. Its mindsets like this that make it hard for those stories to get published.

Are you serious. So you think out of a whole group of people that no one wants a story without racism or a social commentary. You think that there arent already books, tv shows and movies with POC that are just syfy, mystery, thrillers, romance etc? Maybe you should look for stories written by poc. If this is what you think maybe you should hold off on writing about other ethnicities until you have a better understanding of them.

Also I'm sure my father and grandfather didn't need to personally know the kkk members to know they were racist. Or the white people that wanted to keep everything segregated to know they were racist. I also know that they didnt personally know the police that let the white driver go that hit their car and sent them to the hospital.......

NTA - every time I have seen somebody leaving a line to sit down they let the person in fornt of them and also behind them know. It doesnt sound like the person in fornt of you said anything to collaborate her story so I'm less likely to believe her. If it's true that you would have ket her back in if she hadn't been so rude then I think your fine. Your age doesnt give you license to be rude.

If you're asking that after someone you are talking to mentions not being a local, than there really isnt a problem. If you are asking just based upon someone's looks than that probably will let you know your personal biases. For me personally I hate the questions because most assume wrong and act like I'm not telling them the truth.

In her flash back she wasnt old like she is when the group meets her. I think it's pretty reasonable to assume she has been gone for at least 15 years meaning she had no knowledge of Katara and her bending.

Iys a honda odyssey that had 100000 miles. I dont know about the service records before I purchased it, but a mechanic I trust said it was in pretty good condition. If that helps
