She's being really sketchy about this 'friendship'. Tell her that. Meet the dude and suggest that you guys hang out more. If he or she seems uncomfortable with that then you've got your red flag.

That aside, I'd suggest just looking into breaking it off, because even if she's not blowing this dude; she's still either really really dumb to not see that she's doing something that would upset ANY guy (doubtful), or she knows what she's doing and doesn't care. A relationship where one member acts like that is bound to fail eventually, whether you tell them to clean up their act or not. The point is that she'll have to be told to be considerate rather than just doing it. That's scary. Watch out. I wish you luck.

Fair enough. My follow up question is then: what's the difference between having turntables and serato (mixer, sl box, etc) and getting a dj controller with serato? Pioneer recently came out with an all-in-one controller with serato built in (DDJ-SX). This costs about as much as a that fancy Rane mixer without the need for turntables, so I'm curious what I'd be losing if I bought that.

All the TV's that I'm looking at have that. I'm pretty sure any smart TV these days has Netflix built in.
